Veterinarian / Animal Welfare Officer (m/f/d), part-time
Synovo is hiring a part-time veterinarian to serve as our Animal Welfare Officer (Tierschutzbeauftragter). You will join our pharmacology research team. Experience in pharmacology is welcome.
Responsibilities
Plan pharmacology studies and support grant and permit applications
Monitor compliance with the rules and conditions that govern our experimental work
Communicate with approval and oversight authorities
Advise the facility and research staff
Contribute to hygiene and health monitoring
Organize training and continuing education
What you bring
A degree in veterinary medicine, preferably with a license to practice (Approbation)
Strong knowledge of pharmacology
Several years in medical or pharmaceutical research is welcome
Knowledge of study design, data handling, and biostatistics
Fluent German, written and spoken
Project management experience is welcome

Facility Manager / Building Technician (m/f/d), full-time or part-time
Synovo is hiring a facility manager for technical building management across our three sites in Tübingen, with a focus on ventilation and HVAC. You will join our research team and keep the building systems our scientists depend on running reliably. Full-time and part-time arrangements are possible.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor the building management systems, including air quality, temperature, and humidity
Carry out or coordinate filter changes, cleaning, and repair of ventilation ducts and fans
Meet hygiene standards and run the required hygiene inspections
Optimize the systems for energy efficiency to reduce operating costs
Keep maintenance records
Help plan a new ventilation system together with a ventilation engineer
Handle general caretaker tasks and keep in good contact with tenants
What you bring
Experience as a building technician, ideally with a focus on ventilation and HVAC
Knowledge of building management and control systems (MSR)
An independent working style with strong communication and teamwork
Willingness to take on varied tasks and learn new areas
Good German is an advantage
